Agile methodologies have been used in software development for years. Now learning designers are seeing its benefits for our field. Agile development values working solutions over comprehensive documentation and responding to change over following a plan. Stop trying to hold stakeholders and SMEs to the plan, and instead learn how to create a flexible structure within which you can respond quickly to changing requirements.

Session Facilitator: Jennifer Bertram
Jennifer Bertram is the Director of Instructional Design at Bottom-Line Performance. As Director of ID, she is responsible for researching and implementing new ID approaches within the organization, including agile development. Additionally, she provides coaching support to the agile services teams at BLP. Jennifer has significant experience in instructional design, project management, and business solutions. Jennifer often manages large, curriculum projects at BLP. Prior to working with BLP, Jennifer was the Training Manager at public accounting firm and also worked for five years at a large credit union.

Location
The program will be held at the One America headquarters (the tower) in downtown Indianapolis, in the Lower Level Education Center. Please meet in the main lobby and someone will escort you to the room!

5. Meet in main lobby by large monitor at end of hallway. (You will pass the cafe and gift shop). ATD–CIC Program Event committee members will take it from there.
