"New to TD" Community of Practice
4th Friday of the Month
Friday, March 22, 2019
Open to Members and Non-Members
7:30 - 9:00 a.m.
The New to TD Community of Practice is for people who have been given responsibilities related to creating and/or delivering training within their organizations for less than 3 years. You don’t need to have “Training” in your title. If this sounds like you, this is a great place to learn the basics about the T&D world.
Join us as we continue our discussion of the ATD Competency Model and what it means for those who are new to the field or have been "thrown into training and development" so to speak! This month's meeting will continue our discussion of the Learning Technologies competency, however with a concentration on learning management systems - what they are, what they can do, and what questions participants have about the one they have. Mentoring opportunities will also be provided. We welcome anyone new to the profession or who has been in an L&D role for three years or less! For additional information, contact Susan Crawley.
Location: Koorsen, 2820 N. Webster Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46219
Time: 7:30 - 9:00 a.m.
Leader: Susan Crawley, stcraw@comcast.net
A Note about This Community of Practice:
Most Communities of Practice are available to ATD-CIC members only, but the New to TD Community of Practice is open to both members and non-members, free of charge.
Communities of Practice have no long-term commitment for ongoing attendance. We'd be delighted to have you join us when you're available. Registration is requested to ensure all attendees have seating and resources available.
