A Roche Success Story

Thursday, May 29

8am to 9:30am

Registration: 7:30am – 8:00am

Ever wonder what how you can take your customer training to a whole new level?  This session will show how Roche Diagnostics’ recently launched a customer training program that employs cutting-edge curriculum design to do just that. We’ll show you what went into designing and developing a curriculum that teaches five different learner types how to use the Cobas 8000 Analyzer Series.  We’ll share how the design relies on a blended learning approach, tailored and spaced learning, as well as, the use of highly-interactive mobile, online, and classroom experiences to provide structured, meaningful, and memorable customer training that leverages a robust set of diverse learning tools and approaches. Not only will we share samples of the tools we built, we’ll also show you the results we’ve seen now that the curriculum is live.

Participants will learn to:

  • Create a tailored and spaced learning approach to training, so training focuses on not just WHAT learners need to know and do, but WHEN they need to learn it
  • Recognize opportunities for leveraging technology to provide just-in-time learner support before, during and after training
  • Explain how to incorporate multiple learning tools into one cohesive toolkit
