Session Description
Don’t worry about bringing your pen and paper to this session, but bring your cameras, because you’re going to want something to remember this experience! Team building brings people together by encouraging collaboration and teamwork. The importance and main purpose of team building is to create a strong team through forming bonds and connections while working towards a common goal. Creating these bonds through team building is very beneficial to our team members! Fun activities that help people see each other in a different light allow them to connect in a different setting. Come participate in these fun activities so you can take them back to your team members and start crushing your goals!
The August Program aligns to the ATD Capability Model as it considers Collaboration and Leadership, Career and Leadership Development, Talent Strategy and Management.

About the presenter
Rusty Shields, a native of rural Northeast Arkansas, graduated from Arkansas State University with Bachelor of Music degrees in Choral Conducting and Vocal Performance. Rusty moved to Bloomington, Indiana to begin his graduate school program at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. After graduating with Master of Music degrees in Choral Conducting and Opera Performance, he began performing and conducting at various places around the world, all while beginning his talent development career. Rusty is the owner of Develefy Consulting which began in 2019. As a master facilitator, Rusty’s participant centered approach to facilitating engages learners to be active in every part of the content. Rusty is very passionate about leadership and personal development in which he has been training for 17 years! Rusty also facilitates the Training & Facilitation Certificate, Instructional Design Certificate, E-Learning Instructional Design Certificate, Articulate Storyline Certificate, and Adult Learning Certificate for ATD National. Rusty is active in the community, volunteering in various roles in civic organizations around the United States! In his down time Rusty loves traveling, reading, hanging out with friends, singing, and dirt track racing!
