Session Description
When delivering and scaling training within organizations, training for training's sake is no longer good enough. It is essential to make the most of any development opportunity, from high levels of engagement to consistency as you scale and apply to real work or challenges. When you get it right, the learnings are sticky, and people walk away with new tools to apply immediately.
The value of simulations for L+D training programs will be presented in two parts. The first part (30-45 minutes) will discuss the simulation's key principles and benefits. The second (15-minute) part will be a brief demonstration of an Experience Point simulation showcasing the power of a learning experience supported by a simulation.
Who should attend?
This program will benefit any level of expertise in the talent development function, from individual contributors to senior executives.
What To Expect
Attendees of this program, participants will be able to:
1. Demonstrate the value of practice before applying (stickiness of content) 2. Understand how to accelerate culture change (why scaling matters) 3. Understand Why Making it Realistic is better than Making it Real
